Strada Bhakti Utama JHS is located at Jl. Bromo No. 46 3, RT.3/RW.7, Pesanggrahan, Pesanggrahan District, South Jakarta City, Special Capital Region of Jakarta 12320. The school is under the auspices of the Strada Association, whose vision is to provide excellent education for young people so that they may grow into intelligent, caring, principled, independent, and patriotic individuals. The teachers and staffs of Strada Bhakti Utama JHS consistently strive to provide excellent and high-quality educational services to both students and parents. According to Pedro Arrupe, “An ideal school is not merely one that produces intelligent people, but one that forms individuals ready to take action, defend what is right, and serve the community.” (Odemus Bei Witono, Kumparan: “Choosing a Quality School for Your Child’s Future”).

By the end of the 2024/2025 academic year, the students of Strada Bhakti Utama JHS had won 44 trophies at international, national, and provincial levels, in competitions organised by the Department of Education or other educational institutions. The number of academic and non-academic awards achieved in the 2024/2025 academic year surpassed that of the previous year, indicating that the school’s educational direction is moving towards a more positive trajectory.

Students’ character development, which is the main focus of Strada Bhakti Utama’s educational JHS,  is also implemented through a hidden curriculum. This includes the Adiwiyata curricula which are integrated with a deep learning approach, reflective learning processes (implementation of the Reflective Pedagogical Paradigm), active English language enhancement (increasing English lesson time to five hours per-week), and character strengthening through several Project-Based Learning (PBL) initiatives such as educational trips, school magazine production, THE BHAKTI UTAMA FESTIVAL, entrepreneurship programmes, and the Adiwiyata Projects.

Over the past two years (2024 and 2025), Strada Bhakti Utama JHS has received the Performance-Based School Operational Assistance (BOS Kinerja) from the Indonesian Ministry of Education to further strengthen character development. The principal, teachers, and staff always listen to feedback and involve the Parents Association in the character and academic development of the students at SMP Strada Bhakti Utama. The school remains open to constructive criticism for the improvement of students’ growth as well as the quality and delivery of education at SMP Strada Bhakti Utama.
